To help you get started, Evensong Spa brings you January Wellness Month - a month full of healthy living from the inside out. Join us for wellness seminars, fitness classes, special services and more.

Sunrise Yoga with Lotus Root Yoga  • 7 - 8 a.m.

In this workshop, Sahnya will share practical tools for a healthier and more mindful life so you can live with greater ease, confidence, inner peace, joy, and balance. Sahnya’s style is practical, fun, deep, and wise with a touch of humor and meaningful storytelling. She will guide you in learning and practicing optimal wellbeing tools for the body and mind in a safe, supportive, and compassionate learning environment. You will learn step-by-step how to practice daily self-care and mindfulness into your daily life. 

Please bring: notebook/journal, pillow/cushion, and dress layered and comfortable. You are welcome to bring a blanket, too.

Healthy Things Grow: Sahnya Thom  • 9:00 - 11:45 a.m.

In this workshop, Sahnya will share practical tools for building healthy flourishing relationships in the workplace and at home. You will be introduced to the four habits of a toxic relationship and how to get unstuck and nourish wholesome daily habits. 

Sahnya’s style is “practical, fun, deep, and wise with a touch of humor and meaningful storytelling.” She will guide you in fun easy to learn interpersonal skills, mindful listening exercises, and how to recognize and free yourself from triggers, punishment, and feeling like you are “walking on eggshells.” You will learn these tools in a safe, supportive, and compassionate learning environment at Evensong Spa.

Sahnya Thom

Sahnya Thom is a 6th Degree Black Belt Martial Artist, Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Author, Speaker, and Ninja Your Life Transformation Coach. She helps clients thrive physically, mentally, and spiritually through unique coaching methods that bridge her expertise in mindfulness/meditation, psychology, the timeless wisdom of Martial Arts, and personal fitness training. Many look for her expertise during times of change and life transition.

She has worked in a variety of contexts with diverse audiences including schools, businesses, retreats, sports teams, and has helped people suffering with PTSD, cancer, diabetes, MS, depression, anxiety, and the grieving process. Many describe her as a "breath of fresh air" and an edu-tainer. She is a science nerd with a poetic heart who loves to make people laugh while delivering game-changing content!

Cranberry Bourbon Body Relaxer - Enjoy some TLC during the holiday season with a spiced brown sugar and Kentucky whiskey scrub massaged over the body. Warm Vitamin E and coconut oil-infused soak towel scented with cranberry remove the mixture. Even Old Man Winter will be jealous as you enjoy a back, neck and shoulder massage with a whipped billowy mousse like nothing you’ve felt before leaving you into a deep state of relaxation.

Fig & Vanilla Bean Facial - Oh how divine, your complexion will receive a warm toasting glow it deserves. A soothing Green Tea Milk Wash adds a dose of calm to inflammations and skin is exfoliated with a gentle sugar scrub. Enjoy a soothing facial massage with vanilla bourbon oil packed with Vitamin E to aid in hydration. A renewing chocolate and fig vitamin serum is applied to the face, rich with vitamins and antioxidants it nourishes skin and gives it a glowy appearance. Finish with a comforting three milk moisturizer and eye serum to erase the look of fine lines.

Vanilla Bourbon Scrub - This warm and cozy body scrub is just what you need during the cold months of the year. Begin with a spiked exfoliation with rice bran oil, pecan-whiskey and brown sugar to remove dry dead skin cells. Warm towels remove the scrub as you are then treated to and application of delicious body oil lightly scented with warm notes of Madagascar vanilla and a dash of Texas distilled bourbon. Skin drinks in the jojoba seed oil and cocoa seed butter adding the hydration factor into this treatment.

Bananas Foster Pedicure - A decadent treat that greets you with a creamy vitamin E infused bananas foster foot soak. Next, scrumptious brown sugar and rum scrub with notes of sweet butter removes dry skin and rough patches. We add a warm and spicy cinnamon twist to the foot and calf massage with a Red Hot Shandy oil that makes this extravagant treatment absolutely delicious down to the last drop.
